The Oddball Club

The "real" story - Known simply as "Chrit" to his family and closest friends, Christopher was born as the youngest, and only boy, of 4 children to Linda and Douglas.

His auto-immune condition was discovered when he was only 18 months old, when all of his hair fell out. His family soon found that because of his young age, this was to be a lifelong condition. But, Chrit was not one to be discouraged, and developed his own unique methods for dealing with the problem. This short story is a fictionalized version of actual events. (139 pages)

A personal venture into the trials and tribulations of 2 young boys discovering they are very different from each other, yet  are drawn into a special bond that forms between them and helps them to overcome their individual medical conditions, as well as their racial and cultural differences. This bond is formed through their creation of The Oddball Club. Written by ones father, a lifelong friend. Based on a true story.
